My Heart & The World 'In My Eyes'

I express My Heart in a simple manner. Which is why I chose to keep the blog looking simple. I don't want to have an eye-straining design thus, I chose simple colours to accompany  My Heart. I hope the words of My Heart reach Your Heart. I hope you have a better view of Singapore. A better view of why I would love to help the less fortunate. I am not comfortable with knowing that, today, we live in a very advanced world yet in some of the other countries, there are people who are living without a clean & fresh source of water. I usually dislike comparison. However, now I shall make just 1 comparison. In our Developed & Advanced countries, we can just turn on a tap and almost instantly clean water flows out of the tap. In Developing countries, sources of water may be  murky and not safe to drink. " Almost a billion people on the planet don’t have access to clean drinking water. Unsafe water and lack of basic sanitation kill more people every year than all forms of violence, including war."(taken from  http://www.charitywater.org/ )
1 BILLION. 1 BILLION out of 7 BILLION do not have access to clean water. My message, in short, is that we need to help that 1 BILLION people out there in all the big or small ways possible. My reason for this post, is that today, I may not be rich but I still have access to clean water, I have money to eat, and I am provided education. Yet everyday I am troubled by all my pesky little troubles that I face. This problem is very big to me. I feel sort of feel guilty to live knowing that 1 BILLION people out there are living and suffering without access to clean water.  Charity Water ( http://www.charitywater.org/ ) has been doing their part. A current Problem in SG

Share your feelings in the comments. Its really important that something is done about this because if nothing is done, then more and more Singaporeans will be losing their money till their DBS account is deactivated which brings no more DBS in Singapore. Well that's pretty much my point of view. I may have exaggerated.

1 Year anniversary!

Hoorah! I know I haven't been posting much and I am a little late on this post but, its our 1 year anniversary and I really would like to thank everyone who has supported my blog including you blogwalkers. I have managed to visit some of your sites :) . So this year's total defence theme was; Its my turn. Or something along that line but its to encourage fellow Singaporean citizens to engage themselves in the communty and help the nation or the community or pretty much a little part of neighbourhoods. I have seen that my site has gain a few more views than expected which is good. Once again thanks for your support.
